Before their 36th week:

Pregnant women can travel on Propair flights without a medical certificate.

Between the 37th and 38th week:

Pregnant women may travel provided they present a medical certificate drawn up within the last 72hrs before departure by an approved doctor or midwife at check-in. This certificate must confirm the number of weeks of pregnancy, the date(s) of travel and must also state that the passenger is fit to fly.

39th week and over:

Pregnant women cannot be accepted on airline flights after the 39th week, so the return flight must take place earlier.

Pregnant women who wish to travel with a baby on their lap may do so.

Pregnant women may not sit in the bulkhead or emergency exit rows. In addition, it is strongly recommended that pregnant women sit on the window side of the aircraft, to facilitate movement in the event of evacuation.

Baby from 7 days to 23 months

  • Only one baby under the age of two may travel free of charge if seated on the lap of a passenger aged 16 or over. The parent/guardian is entitled to one extra piece of luggage (stroller, playpen, car seat) not included in the baggage allowance.
  • The baby for whom a seat has been purchased must be properly installed in an approved child restraint system, and the applicable fee must be paid. Regular baggage allowance applies.
  • Identification showing the child's date of birth is required at check-in. Travel for infants under 7 days of age requires a doctor's medical certificate authorizing travel.
  • Canadian Aviation Regulations do not allow adult passengers (over 16 years of age), for any reason whatsoever, to care for more than one infant on board the aircraft. This rule applies both to a baby sitting on the adult's lap (occupying the same seat as the adult) and to a baby in a restraint system.

Children aged 2 to 11

  • This passenger is considered a child for the purposes of air travel and will pay the applicable fare (child fare), if available, when accompanied by a ticketed passenger at least 16 years of age for the duration of the trip.
  • This passenger must be supervised by a passenger aged 16 or over, or left with the carrier's minor escort service, if applicable, for children aged 8 or over traveling alone (see section, Unaccompanied minors).
  • For children aged 8 to 16 inclusive, an unaccompanied child travel service is available. See "Unaccompanied minors" section for more information.
  • The use of an approved child restraint system is optional for children aged two and over.

Children aged 12 and over

  • This passenger is considered an adult for air travel purposes, and the applicable adult fare must be paid. This passenger may travel unaccompanied and unsupervised. They may also accompany an infant or a child aged 7 days to 11 years, if 16 years or older.
  • Children aged 12 to 16 inclusive may use the minors' escort service at the request of their parent/guardian. Please note that for any request to accompany minors in this age group, the travel restrictions relating to the minors' accompaniment service will apply.

All reservations for babies and/or children under 12 must be made with the reservation center.

Pets :

Only domestic dogs and cats are accepted on board our flights under certain conditions. Only one pet per flight.

The pet must be in an appropriate cage or carrier and will be included in the customer's carry-on baggage allowance. The cage must be placed under the seat in front of the passenger, and the pet must remain in the closed carrier under the seat at all times. The passenger assumes full responsibility for the animal.

  • The maximum dimensions of the cage are: 10" x 15" x 9" (length + width + height).
  • The weight of the animal and the cage must not exceed 13 lbs.

Only properly ventilated cages are accepted. The cage must be large enough to allow the animal to stand up, turn around and lie down in comfort and safety. No part of the animal may protrude from the cage. Transport may be refused if the cage is too small.

The pet must be at least 12 weeks old and fully weaned.

Passengers travelling with pets may not sit in the bulkhead or emergency exit rows. Specific seats will be assigned to you at check-in to ensure compliance with procedures and regulations in force.

In case of allergies, there must be a minimum of 5 rows between a passenger allergic to dogs and/or cats and a passenger traveling with the animal in the cabin. If they are seated 5 rows or less apart, the allergic passenger will be relocated to the opposite side of the aisle from the aircraft exit, to avoid crossing the aisle with the pet.

All reservations for pets must be made with the reservations center at least 72 hours in advance. A fee per segment is applicable at the time of booking.

Service animal :

A certified guide dog or service animal is accepted on board any Propair aircraft provided it is held in a harness. At the time of booking, the passenger must also provide a certificate attesting that the animal has been trained by a professional animal training organization for the purpose of assisting a person in need of assistance.

The carrier will accept, free of charge, the service animal of a person requiring assistance. This person will be entitled to the full baggage allowance.

The carrier will determine, in consultation with the person requiring assistance, where he or she and the animal will be seated on the aircraft to ensure sufficient space.

How to make a request

Depending on the conditions of the ticket, changes or refunds can be made by calling the reservation center or by e-mailing reservations@propair.ca. The telephone numbers and opening hours of the reservation center can be found in the "Contact" section of the website.

NOLISEMENT

Booking a charter flight is easy. Simply fill out a quote request using our web tool(Request a Quote), or fill out an e-mail quote. You can also speak to one of our advisors by phone at (819) 762-0811.

A quote doesn't commit you to anything, and helps you better plan your trips.

A charter flight is a flight where the aircraft has been booked by one, or a group of people to fly to a specific destination. This type of flight offers simplicity of mind, great flexibility and excellent value for money.

A commercial flight is one in which a ticket is purchased to reserve a seat on an aircraft. Most commercial flights require passengers to arrive well in advance, sometimes up to 3 hours before departure.

We offer customized services for special needs, such as private boarding, catering and alcoholic beverage service, hotel and car reservations, and more.

Depending on the desired itinerary, prices are based on the base cost and the various costs associated with the charter, such as mandatory fees to NAV Canada, airport fees, etc. For more information, it's easy to request a quote online(Request a quote). There's no obligation on your part, and we'll send you a detailed quote including all these costs (associated conditions).

For some itineraries, it may be profitable to charter a plane for as few as 4 passengers. We invite you to consider chartering an aircraft when planning your next air trip. Always consider requesting a quote before purchasing your tickets when traveling as a group.
